Toyo Proxes R39 original equipment on new Mazda 2

Toyo’s Proxes R39 has been selected as original equipment for the all-new Mazda 2. The sporty supermini is designed to achieve a combination of fuel economy and performance, with size 185/60R16 86H Proxes R39s part of this remit.

Launching across Europe in the first quarter of 2015, the Mazda 2 was named Car of the Year Japan for 2014-2015, where it is known as the Mazda Demio. It is the fifth Mazda to win the award; the winning 2012-13 Mazda CX-5 was also fitted with Toyo rubber. Toyo also supplies the Mazda 6 and the Mazda 3. Each Toyo-supplied Mazda features the manufacturer’s “Kodo – Soul of Motion” design and “Skyactiv technology.
