Sandeck to lead Mitas sales team in Germany

Olaf Sandeck has joined Mitas’ German subsidiary and will soon take over as manager of the national sales and marketing operation. He began his tenure with the tyre maker in December 2014 and, as of March 2015, will succeed Gerhard Schulterobben, who currently leads Mitas’ German sales unit. Schulterobben will retire after 11 years with the company.

Prior to joining Mitas, Sandeck was sales manager, agricultural products for Starco in Germany. In his new position, he will be responsible for increasing the profile of the Mitas agricultural range in the German market. “Germany is our main market,” commented Mitas CEO Jaroslav Čechura. “We are therefore convinced that through the experience Olaf Sandeck brings with him, Mitas-brand tyres will gain a reputation as premium products and become the first choice for agricultural users.”
