2 new OE Mercedes fitments for Bridgestone
Bridgestone will fit its Turanza T001 tyre to the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class in summer
Bridgestone has announced two new Mercedes-Benz original equipment fitments. The new Mercedes-Benz GLA and C-Class will roll out of the factory and be sold globally on Bridgestone rubber.
The Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport and Dueler H/L 400 were chosen by the German manufacturer for its latest compact SUV model: the GLA. Bridgestone will supply the summer tyre in two sizes – a standard 215/60 R17 96V and an ‘extended’, or run-flat size 235/45 R19 95V- and the all-season tyre in a size 235/50 R18 97H run-flat version.
Also joining the ranks of recent Bridgestone OE fitments is the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. 16 and 17-inch versions of the Bridgestone’s Turanza T001 have been tailored to Daimler’s specific requirements, while drivers looking for sports performance have the option of the Bridgestone Potenza S001 in 18-inch sizes. Bridgestone’s Blizzak LM-32 winter tyre was also chosen to complete the factory fitment package. Seven sizes in all have been specifically developed for the C-Class:
