Held at GTG Wolverhampton, the third breakfast network meeting of the year demonstrated the importance of using social media as a means of communication with customers and suppliers in the automotive aftermarket.

Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive used the event to recap on key industry news over the past three months and the threats looming large to the trade such as vehicle type approval and telematics. “The IAAF is working hard to combat these threats on behalf of its membership and identify opportunities for the trade.”

And, in an exclusive sneak preview, Ms. Williamson unveiled the theme of this year’s conference, held for the first time at the ICC Birmingham on 4 December.

The theme will be “Change, Challenge, Opportunity and tackle everything from the threats and opportunities of the Internet to the future of the independent garage and the latest European legislation affecting the industry.
