Kirkby: New Double Coin size and Longmarch brand, continued progress with Sailun

Liverpool-based wholesaler Kirkby Tyres & Wheels reports that its brands continue to perform well in the UK market, with new Double Coin sizes, solid Sailun performance and the new Longmarch range making the headlines.

Kirkby Tyres has sold in excess of one million double coin truck tyres since the wholesaler started importing the well-known brand. Double Coin representatives report that the brand, which is predominantly produced at the company’s Shanghai, China manufacturing base, has achieved this success because more drivers are choosing Double Coin due to the brand’s “mid-range prices” as well as its high quality. According to the company, the quality is comparable with premium brands and as such the tyres can be retreaded.

The latest news is that Double Coin are now offering the follow new sizes and patterns. First up there is the RT910 long haul trailer tyre. Then there’s the brand new RR208. In addition there is the RT606 – reinforced sidewall bus tyres and the RT600, which is an improved version of the popular RT500. In addition, according to Kirkby representatives, established patterns such as the RLB1 and RLB450 continue to grow in the market

Kirkby tyres also reports that the wholesaler is having Sailun “continued success” with its S606 and S737 truck range as the manufacturing business behind the brand continues to grow in its European and global approach.

For its part Longmarch is new to Kirkby Tyres, which recently became the exclusive to UK and European markets distributorship. Kirkby describes Longmarch as a “well proven and tested brand”, adding that it is positioned with the “price conscious” customer in mind.

Furthermore the Longmarch range is introducing more and more European sizes such as 17.5” and 19.5” tyres, including low profile fitments.

And finally Longmarch is also said to be production other “well respected” German and European brands.
