Federal-Mogul showing brake pad developments at Automechanika

Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation is presenting some its latest brake pad developments at Automechanika in Frankfurt, Germany from the 16 to 20 September in hall 3.0, stand D.51. According to the company details about Federal-Mogul Motorparts strategies and its products – including Ferodo’s zero copper Eco-Friction brake pads will be shared along with information relating to the company’s recent acquisition of Honeywell’s Friction Material business.

“Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ ongoing strategy is to reinforce our position as a multi-brand provider and service specialist. The Motorparts name provides an opportunity to create our own distinct identity, both within and outside of Federal-Mogul,” said Olivier Legrand, vice-president aftermarket, Federal-Mogul Motorparts EMEA. “Federal-Mogul Motorparts will continue to offer a high-level of service to the aftermarket with training, technical and marketing support, while still providing the OE-quality products developed by the Powertrain side of the business. During Automechanika, we will feature a garage workshop corner at our booth that will illustrate Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ service offerings with examples of tailor-made training and technical support solutions.”

Federal-Mogul Motorparts is listed in Automechanika’s “Green Directory” with Ferodo’s Eco-friction brake pads. Federal-Mogul Motorparts is the first supplier to meet European vehicle makers’ requirements of zero-copper brake pads. “These environmentally-friendly brake pads were launched simultaneously in the aftermarket and as original equipment on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class earlier this year,” said Legrand.
