TGI appoints African development manager, new strategic accounts VP

Tire Group International has added Kevin O’Brien and Rishi Raj Bhatnagar to its team. They take up the roles respectively of vice president of strategic accounts for its domestic division and territory manager for the African market. Both have more than 20 years’ experience in the industry.

O’Brien brings to TGI a vast amount of experience in the trucking industry, having been sales VP at Ameriquest Transportation. “I’m very excited about this new opportunity and to join the TGI family. I’m looking forward to expanding our footprint in the OE and fleet business in the US continuing to provide clients best-in-class service and tailored solutions”, he said.

Territory manager Bhatnagar will work closely with TGI’s international sales manager, Sherko Hajrasouli, to continue developing and growing the African market. Bhatnagar has more than 25 years’ experience in the retreading industry and in the African market. He commented, “I was attracted by the company’s mission and by the excellent reputation TGI has in the market. I believe with my experience and knowledge, we will enhance TGI’s commitment to grow the African market”.
