Michelin to invest 100M euros into Polish agricultural tyre plant modernisation

Fresh reports suggest that Michelin has reinvigorated plans to invest more than 410 million zloty (almost 100 million euros) in the modernisation of its Olsztyn agricultural tyre plant in northern Poland, first mooted in August 2013.

Citing statements by Polish economy minister Janusz Piechocinski, media reports suggest that the project is to be promoted by the Polish government, with up to eight percent of the total investment. The work is to be completed by 2018, creating around 50 new jobs in addition to the existing 4,000 there.
