Mark Griffiths joins Continental UK communications team

Continental Tyre Group Ltd has appointed Mark Griffiths as communications assistant to work alongside communications manager, Laura Hardy within this newly created role, covering all aspects of the brand’s public profile.

Griffiths 24 recently returned from a year living in Paris teaching English. Before this, he studied for his BA Journalism degree in 2008 graduating with 1st class honours, going on to complete his MA in Automotive Journalism in 2010 with Merit.

Alongside his studies, Griffiths has worked for a number of motoring magazines, including Auto Express and BMW Car. He has also worked in a sales capacity for MINI and completed a placement at Aston Martin Lagonda within the Global Events team last year.

“I am delighted to join Continental in this exciting new role. I look forward to working with all areas of the business and having a positive influence on the company’s public profile.” Mark Griffiths commented.

Referring to the new position, communications manager, Laura Hardy said: “It’s great to have Mark on board. The new role will help us provide further support to the media and allow us to have a wider presence across growing social media and online platforms.”
